Making a claim

It is important that all incidents that may give rise to a claim are reported to us as soon as possible after the event.

If you are in any doubt as to what action to take, or whether you need to tell us about an incident, please contact the Claims Team on 0844 8756040 between 9am and 5pm  Monday to Friday.
Don't admit any responsibility.
Tell us what happened.
Identify the other party.
Send any correspondence you receive to us immediately and unanswered.
Tell us if any claim is made against you.
If you are an existing policyholder and you become aware of a claim or circumstance which should be reported, your Insurers offer the comfort of a dedicated 24/7 claims helpline, providing:-
Immediate acknowledgement of the claims notification
Appointment of independent advisors and experts.
This hassle-free approach provides you with peace of mind should the worst happen.
Depending upon when your policy was incepted or renewed, it will either be underwritten by Brit Insurance Limited or QBE Insurance (Europe) Limited.
